a) iniquity- more deeply rooted, means premeditated choice, continuing without repentance. Inquiry left unchecked less to a state of willful sin with no fear of God. Iniquity causes us to bend or twist the law of God in our hearts long before it expresses itself in our hands.
b) transgression- refers to presumptuous sin, the choice to intentionally disobey; willful trespassing.
c) sin- to miss the mark, dong wrong against God or a person, doing the opposite of what is right, failing to do what you know is right.
