I would like to bring to your attention a small preliminary regarding this text. -The Christian Warfare- by John Downame, is a four-part series consisting originally in four separate volumes or publications. About 25 years after publishing the first volumes in the series,-Mr. Downame published a complete collection of these four volumes, into a single volume, -having gone through a few editions individually,- and added a further expanding of some of his points.
