Today is an enormous day in Bitcoin, as for the first time, the medium of exchange narrative is playing out in front of our very eyes in the U.S! For the longest time, many naysayers would say I can't pay for this or that with Bitcoin, but now you can! In today's podcast, I go over the following topics and why this is such an exciting day in Bitcoin! 

• One of the most exciting developments is happening with Bitcoin, and I’m thrilled to see progress on the medium of exchange front.
• Over the past few years, many countries have developed circular economies using Bitcoin.
• Notable examples include Bitcoin Beach in El Salvador (El Zonte).

• In the U.S., a major issue has been businesses’ reluctance to accept Bitcoin.
• This reluctance stems from a lack of infrastructure, limited knowledge, unclear regulations, and tax implications.
• Many Bitcoin enthusiasts have advocated for its use, but widespread adoption has been slow.
• It’s a classic chicken-and-egg problem, but things are finally changing!
• Steak ‘n Shake announced a few days ago that they will begin accepting Bitcoin starting May 16, 2025.
• With approximately 400 locations, the brand serves over 100 million customers annually.
• This is a significant milestone for the U.S., as many believe Bitcoin’s store-of-value narrative is well-established, and now the medium-of-exchange narrative is gaining traction.
• In two weeks, we plan to visit a Steak ‘n Shake and record our experience for you.
• A key question is whether they will convert the Bitcoin to cash or hold it as Bitcoin.
• We expect more businesses to follow suit in the coming months as America emerges as the Bitcoin capital of the world!
