Last week, a 16-year old student was killed, and another student was injured after a fight inside a classroom full of students at Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa.

Following the fatal altercation, there’s been renewed debate over the need for police department school resource officers on campuses. 

KCBS Radio reporter Jeffrey Schaub gets some insight from Josie Sanguinetti, a recently retired school resource officer for the Marin County Sheriff's Department.
