In this passage, Jesus is recruiting His disciples. But if we don’t slow down and ponder these verses, we will miss the depth present in them. John isn’t merely recording Jesus’ recruiting trip, he is teaching us about Jesus. He is teaching us more of who Jesus is and what He does. This passage will encourage our  evangelism and will deepen our worship of Christ the Lord. | John 1:35-51
