This week Deklan tells us about the mysterious Poveglia Island in Italy. This island is uninhabited now but had a dark history of previous people who lived there. Buildings on the island at different times were used to house plague infected people as well as an insane asylum. Bad things happened here to many people for long periods of time. The island currently has numerous reports of hauntings.
Jane tells us about Jack Unterweger. He was a convicted murderer in Austria. During his incarceration he wrote things ranging from children’s stories, poems, and his autobiography. The artistic community lobbied for his early release and were happy when he was paroled. Unfortunately he wasn’t fully rehabilitated like everyone believed and the bodies quickly started adding up.
We also enjoy the Aperol Spritz.
