This week Deklan tells us about the deadly attacks using the postal system and anthrax. In 2001, just after the 9/11 attacks, several people received mail that caused several people to become ill and others to die. It was discovered that someone was sending letters containing the spores of anthrax. Did they ever determine who did it?
Jane talks turkeys in honor of Thanksgiving! She tells us about a strange tradition in the US involving turkeys and the holiday. Diving back in history the first turkey pardon seems to have started with President Lincoln but it wasn’t adopted as a true tradition until President Bush Sr.
We also drink the long named Armed and Dangerous-Anthrax Cocktail.
