Every 4 years, a candidate is inducted as the new or repeating president of the United States. It’s the year 2020 and it’s been a year that has reminded us all America has not seen much progress from a racial and equality standpoint. Now more than ever, we are seeing people draw a line in the sand to publicize their stances and beliefs. Friendships are being ruined, families are divided; ultimately representing the current climate of America. Are you able to separate politics from friendship at this point? Is that really a topic that can be swept under the rug and not talked about if two friends have opposing viewpoints? November 3rd is just around the corner and will be one of the most important elections of our lifetime. The road to get there has been ugly; and the path formed after may get uglier.
