#257 Pay for Your Wellness or You Will Pay for Your Sickness w/Dr. Elena V.
On this week's WW Podcast, I was joined by my close friend and renowned health expert, Dr. Elena Villanueva, also known as Dr. V.
Dr. V is a sought-after international speaker and influencer in the health industry. She is the producer and host of several groundbreaking health series, co-author of "The Longevity Code," and has been featured in numerous media outlets and documentaries, including FOX News, MSN, Healthline, Houston Chronicle, and more.
Dr. V and her team specialize in using evidence-based methods to treat the root causes of chronic illnesses and mental health conditions, incorporating a multifaceted approach that addresses unresolved trauma and unprocessed emotions. Her unique approach merges Newtonian and quantum science with a mind-body-spirit integration.
Dr. V is a doctor as well as an entrepreneur.. As so many health practitioners and business owners, she admits she consistently put the business first. She speaks candidly in this episode about her personal experience of running a successful business while ignoring her own health. She shares how her body slowly began to shut down and how she eventually realized that surrendering to take care of her health did not mean failure. And she shares her own realization that as she took more time to play, relax and recover, the business started to do better! Not the other way around.
She explains that stress manifests in our bodies as disease, and that the release of trapped emotions is key to full healing.
