Hey everyone I’m Pastor Gary Hoban and welcome to episode 41 of Refinery Life radio /TV.
Our goal here is to release a 2-3 minute video / Podcast each day, designed to challenge you and get you to spend more time with God.
Today we are going to talk about, For the good of others.
By definition, serving others means being willing to make sacrifices for their good.
A supreme example of this is the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:30-37.
He sacrificed time by stopping to help the wounded traveler.
He sacrificed his possessions by bandaging and dressing the mans wounds.
He sacrificed his personal transportation by carrying the man to an inn.
He sacrificed his life by taking care of the man personally.
He sacrificed his money by giving a days wages, essentially a blank cheque to an innkeeper he didn’t know for the continued cars of the wounded man.
Do you think the Good Samaritan had a positive impact?
Without a doubt he did!
When you serve, don’t focus on what you have given up, but on what others have gained.
Remind yourself today that all you have is Gods.
Ask Him to help you joyfully sacrifice your time and possessions for others today, being mindful that He will supply all you need according to His riches and glory.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word.
When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer.
Theres nothing thats too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
