You might wonder how a typo can lead to having half your thyroid removed unnecessarily….you’ll have to tune in to hear Lisa Wilson’s story, which is almost unbelievable except that it really happened to her. Then we discuss her long recovery, navigating mainstream medicine, and finding her way to Naturopathy and intuitive healing resources in order to really advance her healing. It’s been 7 years, and Lisa is still healing, but has come so far, and is doing much better thankfully.  When our body is out of balance it sends us messages to get us to change something, so we can come back into balance, but that is so much harder to do when you’ve had ½ your thyroid surgically removed, and yet, it can still be done with the support of holistic health practitioners.

In 2014 after the blessing of a layoff allowed her to start her own business she had a surgery (by mistake) that left her feeling an exhaustion best explained by calling it "Cellular tired". It's a tired feeling that is right in your core, your body won't move, and your brain can't focus. Making it very difficult to stay in a good mental state. Lisa has shared her story in several books, and while it's not the focus of her business it does inform everything she does. Still not fully back to her "old" self Lisa has made many improvements in her health by seeking alternative health solutions.  Lisa Wilson has taken her success as a Human Resources leader in large corporations and is bringing this same opportunity to small to medium-sized companies. Offering training and coaching before and during those particularly sticky situations. Lisa is a Leadership/Corporate Coach, Certified Human Resources Leader, and a trained Mediator. With an HR career spanning 15 years, her drive had her in a manager’s role 5 years into her career. She is an active volunteer with Toastmasters and the Human Resources professionals Association. She is no stranger to leading and loves sharing her knowledge and experience with her clients.
