We are officially in the thick of the holiday season, which is equal parts beautiful and stressful. One question that comes up a lot, that I know can create a lot of anxiety, is how to continue our health journeys and habits over the holidays. In today’s episode, I’m going to share some of my experiences and things that have helped me to answer that question all while reframing what it means to enjoy the holidays.
In this episode, we cover:
- Releasing the hype and pressure that the holidays can bring; whether that’s around food, relatives, and overall expectations
- Ways to reframe enjoyment and what is actually important to YOU
- Focusing on approaching the holidays through your own filter and your own priorities
- There is space for both; treating the holidays as special and focusing on traditions AND still taking care of my physical, mental, and emotional health
