Chantelle, Leela, Simon and Tony lived in a house in the small Australian town of Nannup. Some locals knew that the head of the family, Simon, was the leader of a religious group, but few were aware of what kind of cult it was.

When the entire family disappeared without trace in 2007, wild theories were put forward. Had they committed collective suicide? Or had the four actually travelled to Brazil to do charity work, as they had told some people?
