After years of bitter debate and legislative drama, California lawmakers have finally approved two bills to jump start housing production and begin to address the state’s critical shortage of homes
Both Senate Bill 9 and 10 made it through the Assembly last week, and will soon be on Governor Newsom’s desk, despite fierce opposition from some in the Bay Area who say they will destroy the character of their neighborhoods.
