Alex first noticed a suspicious lump in her breast while breastfeeding her newborn son last year. Uneasy about the mass, she decided to have it checked out and was diagnosed with Stage 2, triple negative breast cancer.

Alex’s treatment has consisted of four rounds of Cisplatin, a double mastectomy, an axillary lymph node dissection and tissue expander placement, eight rounds of chemotherapy, and 25 rounds of radiation. Her treatment has stretched over a year’s time.

Alex is supported by her husband, Tim, daughter, Olivia (4) and son, Ryder (22 months). She works as a Physician Assistant, but in her spare time, Alex loves spending time with her family and going to the movies.
