Hey everyone I’m Pastor Gary Hoban and welcome to episode 27 of Refinery Life radio /TV.
Our goal here is to release a 2-3 minute video / Podcast each day, designed to challenge you and get you to spend more time with God.
Today we are going to talk about, Mastering God’s word.
When I was new to the Whole Christian thing, I was amazed by some people and how well they knew their bible.
I admired these people and their grasp of scripture, and wished I was like them.
One day I was courageous enough to ask one of these people how they knew their bible so well.
The answer I expected was some sort of theological training, some bible school, or that they just had a great ability to interpret scripture.
But to my surprise, this person said it was a lifetime of just reading the bible regularly, day in and day out.
Thats pretty simple, isn’t it?
What a joy it was to realise that every believer could have the same kind of knowledge.
All it takes is faithful and consistent reading.
Pray today that God would open your eyes as you read the Scriptures. And ask Him to make your heart good soil So the seed of His word will go deep and produce a good crop.

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word.
When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer.
There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
