It has been a little over a year since sports betting became legal in North Carolina and last week it was announced that more than $6 Billion in real money was wagered and almost $500 million more were given out in free or promotional bets. Chris Edwards wanted to dive deeper into all of this as Raleigh prepares to host the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament with one of the people who helped to introduce the sports wagering bill in the first place, Durham County Representative Zack Hawkins.
