David's sin was egregious. It was his acknowledgement of his guilt before a holy God and his sorrow for his sin that led him to write Psalm 51. In this beautiful Psalm, we better understand the depth of our depravity and the incredible kindness and grace of God as He forgives sinners as bad as David...and as bad as you and me.
