Today we practice resonate breathing to calm our bodies and minds. By intentionally slowing and deepening our breath we stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system, or the rest and digest part of our nervous system. The mind and body are intricately connected and we can use the body as a gateway to changing our state of mind.
This type of breathing can be used any time and any place to reset, balance and calm the nervous system.
