Asbestos is a group of six naturally occurring minerals made up of heat-resistant fibers. It was used in thousands of U.S. consumer products before the dangers of asbestos were known. Asbestos causes mesothelioma, lung cancer and other cancers. Asbestos is regulated in the U.S., but not banned. Asbestos has been with us since the 1800s but wasn't regulated until after it impacted lives for nearly 100 years. There are still legacy exposure risks in certain career fields and residential situations.Discussion Resources:Fake Snow Made From Asbestos was Marketed As Christmas Decorhttps://asbestosproservices.com/2018/12/fake-snow-made-from-asbestos-was-marketed-as-christmas-decor/Asbestos.comhttps://www.asbestos.com/asbestos/Send us a textVoiceovers by Molly, LLCVoiceovers by Molly, LLC - She wants to collaborate with you!Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links.
