It's been about two weeks since Hurricane Helene devastated Western North Carolina and now communities in our Mountains are still picking up the pieces and will be for sometime. That devastation has brought in so many people who want to help those with the recovery effort, one of those people who are in town to help is Retired New York Police Lt. Steve Hauck who joins Chris Edwards in studio.
