The 2018 college football season kicks off this weekend. The USC Trojans take on the UNLV Running Rebels, while the Notre Dame Fighting Irish faceoff against the Michigan Wolverines.  The biggest news item from this week is USC coach Clay Helton named true freshman JT Daniels the Trojans’ starting quarterback.  Big things are expected for the freshman throughout the year, and even in his first game. As for Notre Dame(29:30), they start their season playing a ranked Michigan team with a lot to lose. Can the higher ranked Fighting Irish put enough plays together to beat the Wolverines, and does Brandon Wimbush have what it takes to be Notre Dame’s starting quarterback.
