De Jesus secured the belt with a finish midway through the 2nd round. His latest victory moved the featherweight champ to (7-3) in his last 10 bouts and it's the second 247 Fighting Championships title, this year, brought home by a fighter out of The Academy: Pittsburgh MMA & Fitness. The first one was by current UFC fighter, Khama Worthy, owner of the mma school.
