Vice President Kamala Harris is enjoying a surge in popularity as she runs for President against Donald Trump, but that also means closer scrutiny of her record as a prosecutor here in the Bay Area.

She’s catching flak from the left for being too tough on crime, and heat from the right for being too lenient, as both San Francisco District Attorney and California Attorney General.
