The word "emote" means, to role play in a theatrical fashion. In other words, we could suggest thoughts are the script and emotions are the actors. Therefore, whatever you are thinking about you will start to role play with your emotions. If satan can get you to begin thinking about the wrong things, it will not be long before he turns you into a “basket case,” making your emotions act out the thoughts in your head. Even the presence of one negative emotion over an extended period is enough to sabotage your happiness. We must become skilled in our thinking because it is the primary factor/influence that determines how we are feeling. We are responsible for what we think; therefore, we are responsible for how we feel.
