In March 2013 college student Elisa Lam checked into The Cecil Hotel on LA’s infamous skid row. Soon she started displaying some odd behaviour; some of which was caught on CCTV - this footage then went viral on the internet after Elisa’s body was found 3 weeks later in a water tank on the roof of the hotel. Forums still buzz with theories about what really happened to Elisa.  Was it murder? Suicide? An accident? The paranormal?
