During my freshman year at RIT I learned of a band called theNewDeal. This was also the year I first used Linux! To this day I can still remember hearing their self titled album for the first time. I've been listening to you guys debate over your new intro song and wanted to suggest a song called Reciever by theNewDeal. it's off their self titled album released in 2001. I think it's vibe is right. First boost woot! Enjoy https://thenewdealband.bandcamp.com/album/the-new-deal

So, I know I’m late to the party but I just wanted to acknowledge and share how awesome Tailscale is. I’m on a beach in Corfu streaming LUP from an exit node on a DO droplet in Munich. After the show I’ll play some tunes off my plex at home in Dublin. Tailscale FTW!!

Thanks for the in depth review on this laptop. I wasn't even thinking of it being an option until I listened to this episode. I've been using popOS exclusively for around two years now. I'm waiting for the Lemur Pro update to drop on June 23. I'll compare the two laptops and pick one to be my new main computer.

By the way there's only one "o", so it's pronounced more like Whoa-den then Wood-en. I love the concept behind value for value and boosts thus anticipate my name popping up fairly often so figured I'd go ahead and point this out now.

$200+ for a good keyboard is absolutely acceptable. I'm unable to use my Kinesis Freestyle Pro at my current work location, and my wrists yell at me every day as I'm waiting for at least a Microsoft Ergonomic plank to be given to me.

Any chance you guys would take a look at the Thinkpad X13s? The HP Dev One is a strong competitor for my next machine, but I'm also very curious about the effectiveness of ARM-based laptops that can more easily support Linux than a MacBook.

Ducks for brent and JB this episode for getting him a Dev One! What a wholesome surprise for him! Glad to hear that this laptop is top of the line for linux. Definitely next in line for my next portable system!
