If the original Dawn of the Dead is the quintessential zombie movie, the 2004 remake from Zack Snyder is its Monster-drinking, Vans wearing, JUULpod vaping cousin. While it’s an entertaining ride with some nasty kills and fun moments, there’s little to nothing happening in this film of any substance; and God help you if you’re a female character in this movie.
