Hello friends,Today’s episode is a story. It is the story of a Girl from Philadelphia who came for a visit to Vancouver and discovered that this is where she needed to be. Maia Wikler has made the west coast her home, and climate justice her purpose. She is a woman of many talents and pursuits, she is a PhD student, writer, film maker, climate advocate and activist, and storyteller. We were very stoked to have this conversation as Maia came through to record just before she set off to Scotland for the COP 26 UN Climate change summit.As a young woman Maia is making serious waves in the world, writing for Patagonia, Teen Vogue, The North Face, and more. All of her work is rooted in her desire to be a part of the solution to climate change.
