The latest polls show President Biden’s approval rating improving and Democrats closing the gap with Republicans in the coming midterm elections.

Democrats now seem poised to retain control of the US Senate, but still lose control of the House. Their outlook has improved; instead of a blowout loss with the GOP gaining 30 or 40 seats, it now looks like a narrower victory for the Republicans, with perhaps 15 or 20 seats flipping, but that would be enough to give McCarthy’s party the gavel.
