Inactive emergency siren system under scrutiny in wake of quake
When the National Weather issued a tsunami warning this morning, all was unusually quiet along the San Francisco coastline.
That's because emergency sirens which should be activated in these situations are still not working.
Officials pulled the plug on the system with the intention of upgrading it back in December of 2019.
