The Internet of Things (IoT) connects a variety of devices that are used throughout the Department of Defense (DoD). While there are challenges with embracing IoT, this new frontier will be powered by 5G, and could completely transform the mission for the DoD.
From enabling the warfighter with automation to enhancing smart base integration, and more, mobile-edge computing powered by 5G can enable the Hyper-Enabled Operator with IoT, and solve current DoD connectivity pain points.
