He spent 18 years in coaching with stints on the Seattle Seahawks (Pete Carroll's staff) and USC. He was with USC for 11 seasons and played a role on both National Championship teams in 2003 and 2004. In seven seasons in Seattle, the Seahawks earned trips to two Super Bowls, winning one.
