Ovince Saint Preux, ranked #6 in the UFC's Light Heavyweight Division, defeated Yushin Okami at 1:50 mark of Round 1 with another Von Flue submission. It is his third such submission of his career and only the fifth in UFC history. First performed by Jason Von Flue in January 2016, it is now being referred to as the "Von Preux." Jessica Andrade won in dominant fashion over Claudia Gadelha with a unanimous decision victory (30-26, 30-25, 30-27). Fight stats had Andrade out-striking her opponent 242-47 with 141 of those being significant strikes. Andrade came in as the #4 ranked strawweight and Gadleha was #1. New rankings have Gadelha falling to #3 and Andrade moving to #2. Bellator 183 Roy Nelson made his Bellator debut in San Jose, California, by defeating Javy Ayala by Unanimous Decision (30-26, 29-28, 29-28).
