A lawsuit filed last week by a Greensboro mother on behalf of her son is raising new questions about Name, Image and Likeness for high school athletes across North Carolina. Rolanda Brandon the mother of Greensboro Grimsley High School quarterback Faizon Brandon field the lawsuit against the North Carolina State Board of Education and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction alleging those bodies overstepped state law when they restricted public high school athletes benefiting from NIL.
