Today we are going to talk about, Profitable for all things.
We live in a health conscious society.
Diet plans and exercise programs are everywhere, here on the Gold Cost there seems to be a gym on every other corner. And we are constantly reminded again and again of the benefits of eating right and of physical activity.
Even the bible acknowledges this, saying in 1 Timothy 4:8 saying that bodily exercise “profits” us.
Yet notice what it says next, “but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come”
So while physical training has some value, spiritual training has a lot more.
In fact, its “profitable for all things”
That includes your marriage,
your children,
your job,
your ministry,
and even your life in eternity!
How are you doing in your growth toward godliness? That is becoming more like God as much as is humanly possible?
Ask God today to help you assess your spiritual training program and make adjustments where necessary.
Thank Him for His promise that your growth in godliness is not only possible but also profitable!

I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much more for us than we can get from just going to church once or twice a week and hearing someone else talk about the Word.
When you spend time with God, your life will change in amazing ways, because God is a Redeemer.
There’s nothing that’s too hard for Him, and He can make you whole, spirit, soul and body!
