Really understanding the algorithm and how to beat it is going to allow you to get in front of people. If you're not getting in front of people and people aren't seeing your content, even if it's awesome, then you're not going to have people to talk to. Right? So that's literally the name of the game. So I'm sure you know this by now, but just in case, algorithm is basically kind of the rating that your account gets. So there's many things that can boost your algorithm or give you a higher algorithm rating. But what you want to think about is you - like the longevity of your account, for example. You want your account to have a high algorithm rating. It's dictated by the social media platforms themselves. We're mostly gonna talk about Facebook today, but what I share with you can definitely translate over to Instagram and other platforms. So what we want to do is we want high algorithm. What this means is when you post something, if you have a high algorithm rating, it tells Facebook, "Ooh, we like her content. We like her profile overall. We like how she's showing up", and it will take your post and share it and put it out in the newsfeed in front of more people. So if you and I post the same thing and I have a higher algorithm rating, then my content is going to be seen by more of my people than yours. So if you've ever posted something and it had like two likes and no comments, and you're like "WTH?", that's why.
