We continue the Bread of Life discourse in the Gospel today and we see those who did not remain with Jesus, those who found his sayings too difficult. Fr. Mark Wedig, O.P., in his homily on the Gospel reflects on his experience as a Dominican these past 40 years. Many brothers have stayed and enjoyed the banquet of Wisdom which comes from Christ's presence. But others have left and for some this was Providence and for others it was foolishness. 

Fr. Mark reminds us of the power and the wisdom of staying, of enduring even when things become difficult.
