ARC of King County--an incredible and important non-profit organization in our community that serves the needs of the intellectually and developmentally disabled (IDD) and their families and support systems. Stacy Gillett and several of her staff: Eric, Madeline, and Robin provide insights and extend a big invite to the "5K for Inclusion" to walk, run, roll and learn about the services and support. Takes place Saturday, September 16, 8-noon, at Magnuson Park on beautiful Lake Washington. Really it's through understanding that we can learn about the lives of the people who struggle, numbering about 34,000 in this area, and discover that simply want to live and thrive similarly to us. And Warm is am important partner on site at the Walk!
