Hebrews 11 is filled with examples of God's kids trusting Him.  God loves it when His kids trust Him.  God's promises are sure even though we may not experience them until the Lord returns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  Meanwhile, God encourages us to fix our eyes on Jesus and run the race with endurance throwing off any hindrance that impedes the race.
