Most people come back from a European holiday with a few extra kg’s around the waist and with a hefty credit card bill; Eugenia came back with a whole new business idea. And so began a career flip that saw her leave behind the world of law (that had seen her work with refugees and spend time at the UN in New York) to launch LUMAS a gallery that showcased affordable art and in particular photographic work from artists locally and around the world.

It was wonderful to finally sit down with Eugenia and hear her fascinating story and I also loved learning the rather unique career she wanted when she was a child! Enjoy.
