Have you ever said, " I know that already!" Or you just say, " I know" when someone tries to hold you accountable to goals or changes you want to make? I have had this on my mind all this year because I am trying to do better with the way I eat, the way I manage money and time and I find myself using I KNOW as the excuse instead of saying..hey I didn't follow through. Can you imagine if you shifted that way of thinking?
I want to talk about this subject more. The older we get the harder it can get to make the changes we need to make.
I also don't want to use mental health challenges as the reason to not follow through with the changes I want to make.
I use a couple of Scriptures to think about.
Hosea 4:6 " My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." ( KJV)
James 4:17 "If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them."
