With California gas prices at a record high, state officials are considering at least four different proposals to ease the pain at the pump
They range from suspending the state’s gas tax to sending rebates to certain California taxpayers. Governor Newsom has his own proposal, legislative Democrats have at least two others, and Republicans have a competing plan.
