This was recorded along the stream below the uppermost of the Clear Creek Springs in the Mount Shasta Wilderness, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. It was a cold October afternoon, with patchy clouds offering only short bursts of warm sunlight and brief glimpses of the mountain looming above.  I have a Facebook page for the podcast, search Sound By Nature to find it and see pictures from the area this episode was recorded, as well as some of the other areas I've recorded.
