Great content, Jack. I've looked into biochar before but never got around to doing anything. You've definitely rekindled my interest.

Did anyone else think of closing a loop with having a dam, planting bamboo on the pressure end of the dam, using the bamboo to make biochar and wood vinegar, and having the biochar added to soil and retained water as a positive feedback loop?

Great show Jack and Michael! I started using biochar in my chicken run up in CT and loving it! It seems to have lessened the odor tremendously and will be a great addition to my compost!
