There has been a lot of action on on Jones Street over the past couple of weeks and on Monday, the North Carolina State Senate voted 30-19 to override Governor Roy Cooper's veto of a bill that would strip a number of powers away from the Governor-Elect Josh Stein and the Attorney General-Elect Jeff Jackson while also providing more funding for Western North Carolina as a result of Hurricane Helene. This now goes to the house for their vote in order to officially override this veto. With Chris Edwards to discuss this more in depth is Wake County Representative Erin Pare.
