Decisions are about change. To make effective decisions, you need to understand how change works. Change can happen at different levels, from small improvements to big paradigm shifts. Change happens at different speeds, too - some changes are immediate while others take longer to manifest. There are different types of changes, too. Some changes are pre-determined by what will bring joy, pleasure, or happiness. Other changes are more mindful decisions. And some changes are pivotal decisions that should be made with a well-oiled system in place to avoid bias. Dr Steven Gans is the founder and former chairman of the London Institute for Management Studies. He was previously a Professor and Supervisor at Antioch University in California. He is the author of Just Listening: Ethics and Therapy by Steven Gans and Leon Redler. He is an expert in the field of Active / Reflective listening. He is also a facilitator and mentor and has worked with many different people in many different capacities. He is known for his dedication, enthusiasm, and ability to always see the positive in any situation. He is a great listener and motivator and is someone who genuinely cares about helping others.
