Richie is joined by the brothers Paul and Nick Ripley. Twitter CEO Elon Musk has called for a 6 month suspension of the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Musk claims that AI will have profound implications for humanity and that governments are not nearly prepared for it. What is AI? Is it dangerous? Is the singularity, the point when AI becomes self aware and beyond the control of human beings a real possibility? 

Nick Ripley is a digital developer who has been using computers since the early 80's. He set up a software company where he developed database applications for international air freight companies. 

Paul Ripley is a broadcast journalist and the station manager at Fab Radio International in Manchester. Paul worked in the music industry for years and drove the sound desk for some major acts. The guys have just released an informative and entertaining new podcast called "The Future Was Yesterday."
