September 11 is a day of shock and mourning for the US, and for Joe Dittmar it’s a day marked not only by loss, but by his survival. Over twenty years ago, the two towers in New York City fell in one of the most tragic events in American history with almost three thousand people dying in the attack.
In this episode, we have the honor of speaking with Joe Dittmar, one of only twenty three survivors in total of the attack. In September of 2001, Joe was in a meeting on the 105th floor of the South Tower when the first plane crashed into the opposite tower. Of the fifty four people in his meeting, he is only one of seven to have survived.
Hearing Joe Dittmar’s experience of that day reminds us all of the the men and women who lost their lives in the fall of the World Trade Center and we are grateful that he had the ability to recall the experience and tell his story.
We hope you enjoyed this episode of Tell Us a Good Story and we will see you next time.

‘Tell Us a Good Story’ is a HIGHLY entertaining podcast that will leave listeners feeling inspired, encouraged, and motivated. Kevin and Stephanie Mason talk about their crazy (and hilarious) experiences from 15+ years of marriage, plus swap fascinating behind-the-scenes type stories with some amazing guests. This podcast will also give you, the listener, an opportunity to share your own story with Kevin, Stephanie, and their audience. The only criteria is 1) it’s gotta be good and 2) its gotta be clean. If interested in being a guest on a future episode, you can submit your story at kevinandsteph.com on the ‘Contact Us’ page
