In this episode, Kevin and Steph are joined by Traci Kelly-Brake to have a very serious conversation about mental health. This year, the United States alone, over one million people attempted suicide and over fifty thousand managed to take their own lives. That’s an average of one hundred and thirty people a day.
The subject of mental health has always been stigmatized and people who look for help are seen as weak by other people in society. Thankfully, as we become more empathetic and open as a generation, we have the opportunity to normalize seeking help. Traci Kelly-Brake courageously shares her story of the trials of living with a spouse battling depression and gives a warning to listeners as to what could happen.

‘Tell Us a Good Story’ is a HIGHLY entertaining podcast that will leave listeners feeling inspired, encouraged, and motivated. Kevin and Stephanie Mason talk about their crazy (and hilarious) experiences from 15+ years of marriage, plus swap fascinating behind-the-scenes type stories with some amazing guests. This podcast will also give you, the listener, an opportunity to share your own story with Kevin, Stephanie, and their audience. The only criteria is 1) it’s gotta be good and 2) its gotta be clean. If interested in being a guest on a future episode, you can submit your story at kevinandsteph.com on the ‘Contact Us’ page
